Tagg Lain

Tagg Lain has been involved in Cheyenne baseball as a player and coach for over 30 years. In his second year managing Cheyenne's American Legion Post 6 varsity team, Tagg coached the 1991 squad to Wyoming State championship a second place finish in the Region VII tournament. Since 1991, Tagg has led Post 6 to 12 more Wyoming State championships and the program has grown to include four teams, a fall season program, and numerous players finding opportunities at the college and professional level. Tagg is also a scout with the Mariners, and teaches at Central High School.

Ty Lain

Ty Lain returned to Cheyenne after graduating from Regis University where he played infield and was a coaching assistant. Ty is an expert hitting instructor and he also coaches infielders. Ty coaches in the American Legion Post 6 program and offers individual, small group, and team instruction. 

Jade Lain

Jade Lain played on the 1991 Post 6 team which won the Wyoming State championship and finished second in the 1991 Region VII tournament. Jade has developed numerous college pitchers and his instruction covers both the mechanical and mental aspects of pitching. Jade also teaches elementary school.

Shane Dyer

Shane Dyer is a native of Eaton, Colorado where he played high school baseball for the Eaton Reds. Shane pitched for 2 years at the collegiate level and then began his professional pitching career in 2008 with the  Tampa Bay Rays organization making it to Triple-A in 2012. Shane is currently signed with the Cincinnati Reds organization and enjoys working teaching young players the fundamentals of pitching. 

Chace Tavelli

Chace Tavelli is a baseball and softball expert.  Chace played at Colby Community College.  He was a starting shortstop.  He has coached in the Legion program since 1989.  For the past 5 years Chace has focused his attention on softball.  He is currently a coach in the Cheyenne Extreme program.  If you are looking for help in developing as a softball player, Chace is the person who will improve your performance.

Brad Barker

Brad Barker is a Post 6 alumni where he played on the 2001 state championship team. Brad went on to play at Northeastern Junior College and Southwest Baptist University. Brad became the manager of the Post 6 Prep team 2004-2007 and later the Post 6 Hawks from 2008-2012. During his managing tenure, Brad's teams won all but one state championship and three junior regional titles. Brad specializes in hitting and the mental prepartaion of playing baseball.  

Todd Howard

Todd Howard played and coached American Legion baseball in Douglas, Wheatland, and now Cheyenne, Wyoming. While manager of the Wheatland Lobos, his squad won two state titles and finished third in the American Legion Junior Regional. Todd joined the Post 6 program in 2010, and in 2013 served as the Post 6 Hawks (junior varsity) manager in their inagural year playing in the AA division. Todd specializes in developing hitters and working defensively with outfielders.

Josiah Ward

Josiah Ward is a graduate of the University of Memphis where he was a pitcher under Coach Daron Schoenrock and renowned pitching coach Fred Corral. Josiah began his collegiate career at a small NAIA college in Tennessee and was able to develop his talents to the point where he received a scholarship from the Division I Memphis Tigers baseball program. Over a fi...ve year collegiate career, Josiah was exposed to several styles of coaching that were instrumental in developing not only physical skills but the mental approach to pitching. Josiah enjoys helping young players enhance these skills and developing young players into great players.
